Sneak Preview of Guernica’s Fall 2017 Line-Up and a CD Launch

David Sherman, who will be joining Guernica’s authors in 2017 with his first book, is officially launching his latest CD along with Nancy Lee.

Sherman & Lee will be launching their CD, Lost & Found, in Montreal this September.

Sept. 15, will be the date of the first launch, done in conjuction with Infinitheatre, as a runup to this season’s production of Sherman & Lee’s musical theatre piece by the same name. The play is written by Nancy and David, directed by Guy Sprung, and produced by Infinitheatre. Nancy and David play two folk singers who meet and ride the roller coaster of romance and tell the story of loves lost and love found, through original songs, backed up by Stephen on bass, Andrew on guitar and John on drums.

The CD launch will be held at the beautifully renovated Rialto Theatre on Parc near Bernard, upstairs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. where there will be finger food and drinks for sale. At the launch, Nancy and David will play a short set accompanied by Stephen Barry, Andrew Cowan and John McColgan, who also produced the record with some help from Erik-West Millette.

On Sept. 17 the second launch will kick off at 6 p.m. It will take place at The Mariposa, on Cote St. Luc Rd. with food and wine available.

Admission is free. No reservations or RSVP required.
