Michael Mirolla Reading at School of Art / McClure Gallery

Michael Mirolla, co-publisher of Guernica Editions, will be among many impressive authors for An Evening of Poetry & Prose at School of Art/McClure Gallery, 350 Victoria Avenue, Westmount, on Tuesday, March 18. Doors open at 7:00 pm, with the   readings beginning at 7:30 pm. Admission is $5 at the door.

Michael Mirolla Montreal is a Toronto novelist, short story writer, poet & playwright. Other authors featured include:

Donald McGrath – Published two books of poetry: At First Light (Wolsak & Wynn, 1995) and The Port Inventory (Cormorant Books, 2012).

Maxianne Berger wanders between Japanese forms and OuLiPo. She’s among those featured in Language Matters: Interviews with 22 Quebec Poets.

Harold Hoefle has published poems and a collection of stories The Mountain Clinic. His story “Ride” won the 2012 QWF Competition.

Sandra Sjollema Author of two chapbooks, where the wild lives. Not a Love Sonnet. Published in Poetica, Leonard Cohen: You’re Our Man Anthology.

Tom Abray Author of Pollen, a first book of short stories (DC Books, 2011) Abray also directed the short films Two Bits and Open.

Catalina Pop Actress, theater performer & Art Workshop facilitator for children. Studied acting in Babes Bolyai University Cluj Napoca, Romania.
