Escape to India with Veena Gokhale and Rahat Kurd

Bombay Wali CoverEscape to India on Friday the 28th of February, when Veena Gokhale and Rahat Kurd will be reading in the Alma Van Dusen Room on the lower level of the Vancouver Public Library. Join this noon hour literary event, and escape the winter greys! Veena Gokhale hails from Montréal and will read from Bombay Wali, her book of short fiction (Guernica Editions, 2013). Rahat Kurd won a Vancouver Mayor’s Arts Awards for Emerging Literary Artist in 2013. She will read poems from her forthcoming collection Cosmophilia (Talonbooks, 2015).
