Holiday Online Pop-Up Giftshop, ALL LIT UP, starting Dec. 2!

All Lit UpToronto, ON — Guernica Editions is proud to be participating in ALL LIT UP. The Literary Press Group, Canada’s collective of independent literary book publishers, is launching a 12-day online pop-up holiday bookshop December 2, 2103. The project, called ALL LIT UP, will be offering fans of Canadian literature a chance to purchase specially curated book bundles, a package of three or four books grouped under various themes, at a 25% discount.

Every day during the promotion, a new holiday gift bundle will be revealed. There are only ten bundles available each day so buyers will have to act fast. There will be book bundles for poetry lovers and fiction fans, naturally. But there will also be bundles for sports enthusiasts, mystery buffs, and music lovers. And to make this offer absolutely one-of-a-kind, every single book will be lovingly signed by its author.

The Literary Press Group is very excited to offer this unique opportunity to Canadian literature lovers this holiday season. It is increasingly difficult to find print books produced by independent Canadian literary publishers as traditional sales channels and marketing opportunities are tougher to come by. But independent Canadian publishers continue to produce award-winning, well reviewed, and important books, and have many supporters, while their challenge continues to be to unite books with their readers.

Holiday shoppers can purchase our holiday book bundles via Paypal on Books will be lovingly packaged by LPG staff and mailed to their door via Canada Post. Watch at noon EST on each day of the twelve day pop-up shop for that day’s title reveal. All Lit Up will be open during the first twelve weekdays of December, and hopes to offer literature lovers an innovative and fun alternative to online gift shopping while giving people a chance to show their support for independent publishing in Canada.
