Michael Carrino Upcoming Events

The very talented Guernica author Michael Carrino has several upcoming events that everyone who is in the area should check out!

  • Michael will be reading at a local Arts Council in Plattsburgh, NY on August 29 at 8:00pm at ROTA Gallery, Margaret St., Plattsburgh, NY 12901
  • Michael will also have a cannot-miss solo art exhibit of black & white photography beginning December 28th until January 13th at the ROTA Gallery in Plattsburgh, NY.
  • Lastly, on November 12th at 7:30pm Michael will be reading at The Yellow Door, 3625 Aylmer, Montreal QC.

 

michaelcarrinoMichael Carrino was born in New York City in 1949. He has been an adjunct instructor as well as a lecturer of composition and poetry at SUNY Plattsburgh since 1987. He was a co-founder and poetry editor of SUNY Plattsburgh’s literary journal, the Saranac Review from 2005 to 2010. In addition to publishing poems in numerous literary journals, he has written four books of poetry: Some Rescues, Under This Combustible Sky, Café Sonata, and Autumn’s Return to the Maple Pavilion. Michael is the author of By Available Light: New and Selected Poems (Guernica 2012), which can now be purchased from our website.
