John Oughton to Read in the PLASTICINE POETRY SERIES August 18th

johnoughtonGuernica author John Oughton will be reading at the PLASTICINE POETRY SERIES in Toronto on the 2nd floor of Paupers Pub, 539 Bloor Street West, August 18th at 6:00pm. This is a free event – and the perfect way to spend your Sunday evening.  

John is currently a Professor of Learning and Teaching at Centennial College in Toronto. He is the author of four previous poetry collections, most recently Counting Out the Millennium, he wrote Time Slip with Guernica in 2010, and close to 400 articles, reviews and interviews. John is the facilitator of the Long Dash Poetry Group and runs a micro-press called Sixth Floor.

Plasticine welcomes spoken word, slam, page poetry and music. They host their poetry series at Pauper’s Pub every third Sunday of the month. This series is a great place to relax, order delicious food, have a bevvy, open your ears and sign up to be heard.
