Keith Garebian to Read at Art Bar at Q-Space on July 30th

keithgarebianWe are really excited to announce that Guernica author Keith Garebian will be reading at the Art Bar on Tuesday, July 30th, at 8pm!

The Art Bar is recognized as Canada’s longest running poetry-only, weekly reading series. Since 1991, it has featured both emerging and established poets from across Canada and occasionally from abroad. It has become a hub for the poetry community, and entry point for new voices, a place for people to enjoy one of the oldest arts.

The Art Bar now takes place at Q Space, a bookstore café at 382 College Street, three blocks east of Bathurst, on the northwest corner of Borden and College.

Keith Garebian is a widely published, award-winning freelance literary, theatre, and dance critic, biographer, and poet. Moon on Wild Grasses (Guernica 2013) is his fifth book of poetry. The collection includes illustrations by the author, and shows the unsuspected scope of a very concise, precise poetic form. Keith recently received the prestigious William Saroyan Medal from the Minister of Diaspora in Armenia.

Admission is free, though voluntary contributions are gratefully accepted.

This is sure to be a very inclusive and invigorating night of poetry! It would be great to see you there!
