Bombay Wali Goes to Eastern Canada!

bombaywaliIndo-Canadian author Veena Gokhale, a former Bombay Wali (a woman from Bombay), is excited about visiting Eastern Canada for the first time to read from her debut fiction collection – Bombay Wali and other stories – recently published by Guernica Editions. Travel to “tough, tantalizing” Bombay with Veena, and have a conversation with her about the book and the places in it!

Award-winning author Mark Frutkin says about Bombay Wali: “These are stories that provide the genuine flavour and taste of India… we meet true-to-life characters imbued with interest and complexity. These are rich stories, well-imagined, deeply felt.”
