Leapfrog Fiction Contest open for entries

The 2013 Leapfrog Fiction Contest is now open to submissions. The contest closes on May 1.

Now in its 5th year, this contest brings in 500-600 literary manuscripts from around the world.

Adult novels, novellas and story collections; YA and middle-grade novels, minimum 20,000 words.

First prize: Publication contract with advance, plus finalist awards: $150 plus manuscript critique by finalist judge Lev Raphael and Leapfrog editors. Details at .

We welcome submissions from faculty members and from MFA students. Because of our “blind” review process, decisions are not influenced by an author’s publication record.
