Help Launch New Books on the Internment of Italian Canadians During WW2

The Association of Italian Canadian Writers, in partnership with Guernica Editions and Accenti Magazine, and co-publisher Columbus Centre of Toronto, are proud to invite you to the launch parties of Behind Barbed Wire and Beyond Barbed Wire across Canada. The books were published as part of a project funded by the Community Historical Recognition Program (CHRP) to increase public awareness and knowledge about the internment of Italian Canadians during the Second World War, in the hope of bringing about a greater understanding of broader issues such as racism and discrimination – in both historical and contemporary terms. The collections were edited by Licia Canton, Domenic Cusmano, Jim Zucchero and Guernica Publisher and Editor-In-Chief Michael Mirolla.  Here are all of details!
