Guernica Editions at the 12th annual Festival of Poetry in Montreal

Join us at the 12th annual Festival of Poetry in Montreal to celebrate the contemporary poetry of Quebec.  Guernica authors will take part in a number of events, including the launch of The Man Who Delivers Clouds by José Acquelin, translated by Antonio D’AlfonsoStone Dream by Madeleine Gagnon, translated by Andrea Moorhead on Friday, May 27 at 6: 30 PM at Marquee Place Gérald-Godin.

On Tuesday, May 24 Antonio will also take part in an event at the Casa d’Italia at 7 PM alongside Claude Beausoleil, David Goudreault and Caroline Rivest. The four poets will discuss the seductions of history and oral tradition. The event will be hosted by Claude Beausoleil and Yolande Villemaire and musician Olivier Hallard will perform.

On Thursday, May 26 at the Grande Bibliothèque for Madeleine Gagnon in the light of the words. Poets Marcel Pomerlo, Francoise Faucher, Jean Marchand, Markita Boies and Catherine Dajczman will perform Madeleine’s work.
