John Oughton Reading in Toronto

John Oughton

Attention Torontonians! Guernica poet John Oughton has four exciting events lined up in the big city this spring. Icing on the cake? For two of the events he will be joined by Guernica poets Elana Wolff, Clara Blackwood and Merle Nudelman.

John’s most recent poetry book, Time Slip, was published by Guernica in 2010.  Drawn from the author’s 60-year journey through the Middle East, Japan, and North America, each piece is delightfully engaging, possessing a wry sense of humor while celebrating the pleasures and paradox of modern life.
