Vancouverites, help us celebrate the winners of the Bressani Prize 2010!

On December 1st Guernica authors Michael Mirolla and Pasquale Verdicchio will be reading alongside fellow Bressani Prize winners Michelle Alfano, Caterina Edwards and special guest Genni Gunn at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Vancouver. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Mirolla received the fiction prize for his novel Berlin, while Verdicchio won the poetry prize for This Nothing’s Place. The Biennial F.G. Bressani Literary Prize was established in 1986 and celebrates Italian Canadian literature.  The 2010 edition of the Bressani Prize was organized by the Italian Cultural Centre in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Vancouver and Regione Lazio Cultural Society.
