An Inspired Folly: Michael Mirolla on Buying Guernica Editions

Publisher Michael Mirolla has posted a first-person account of purchasing Guernica Editions with co-publisher and partner Connie McParland.

“I tell myself as often as possible,” comments Mirolla, “that running Guernica means being at the helm of a significant purveyor of a Canadian culture segment that is all too often marginalized, that we try to give a voice to those who wouldn’t otherwise have one, and that we are making a difference, especially when it comes to producing translations of Quebec writers so they can be heard outside the confines of the French language in Canada.”
