Check Out Liz Worth in Kingston!

Guernica poet Liz Worth and fellow Toronto author Liisa Ladouceu are set to take Kingston by storm this December. Liz will perform from her new book, Amphetamine Heart, using a theremin for spooky sounds before engaging journalist Liisa Ladouceur in a discussion about her new book Encylopedia Gothica. Local Kingston poet Barry King will join them for the evening, and DJ Bill Gillespie will be on hand to provide noise, atmosphere, and fun.

When: Saturday, December 3, 2011 – 8:00pm
Where: The Artel, 205 Sydenham St, Kingston, ON

Amphetamine Heart is about excess and the imbalance that it brings. It’s about people who don’t remember how they got home at the end of the night. It’s about broken illusions and the dark undercurrents that often permeate party culture.
